DR. TRICIA BACON

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR AT AMERICAN UNIVERSITY

After a decade as a counter-terrorism analyst at the U.S. Department of State, Dr. Tricia Bacon is now an associate professor at American University’s School of Public Affairs. She is also a non-resident fellow at the International Centre for Counter-terrorism. She serves on the Countering Terrorism & Extremism Program's Advisory Council at the Middle East Institute and International Counter-Terrorism Review Advisory Board. She is also on the Editorial Board for the journals Studies in Conflict and Terrorism, Terrorism and Political Violence, Perspectives on Terrorism, and Journal of the Middle East and Africa.
